[PD-dev] branch for 0.39.2 Pd-extended release

I want to make a branch for the 0.39.2 release so that people can do  
whatever they need to in CVS and they won't mess up the final release  
tweaks.  I haven't done a branch before, so I am looking for advice.

Basically, I want to get as much heavy work into CVS now, then make a  
branch for the final tweaks and fixes here and there.

Any things I should do to prepare?
