MinGW extra fixes
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?
func=detail&aid=1561814&group_id=55736&atid=478072

I thought I would get to making ./configure && make work on MinGW,
but I didn't. So this MinGW Makefile should be included (my fault):
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?
func=detail&aid=1374659&group_id=55736&atid=478072

This one I forgot to submit to the tracker, apparently, so it's new:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?
func=detail&aid=1821459&group_id=55736&atid=478072

Also, having a published build system for Mac OS X and Windows would
help a lot.
