[PD-dev] pd-gui rewrite crashes when typing a tilde sign on osx

Hi all,

i'v checked out the current head of the pd-gui rewrite 0.43 branch from https://pure-data.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pure-data/branches/pd-gui-rewrite/0.43.
It compiles and runs fine on OSX 10.6.2, until you type a tilde (~) sign into an object, which throws the following exception - and crashes pd:
