[PD] Plotting points on screen with gem

I was wondering has anyone tried to simply plot points
on screen using gem, I am interested in creating
fractal images in real-time and I can't seem to plot a
simple points on the gem window. I'm sure there is a
way of simply plotting the X Y coordinates of where I
want the dot to be placed on screen, however I have
not been able to find the right objects to do this?
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
