[PD] Where can I download Gem for Linux ( not a debian distribution)

Mostly because of their open-sourceness. I also found, that some audio mags
recommend G400 cards for audio workstations, but that is Windows-World, and
I don't feel comfortable there.

Did you try setting 
	Option "PciRetry" "off"
in your XF86Config?
