[PD] gem.87t2 and glutSolidTeapot

Hello,

I've got gem .87 compiled fine, but when I load pd with it I get the 
error:

/usr/local/gem-0.87_2/Gem.pd_linux: /usr/local/gem-0.87_2/Gem.pd_linux: 
undefined symbol: glutSolidTeapot
Gem: can't load library

I assumed this was because I had an old version of GLUT so I found 3.7 
but the install is giving me heck.

I imagine that this error is just because of the new teapot primitive... 
So if I don't need this object can I disable it in the source code?
