You need xlibs-dev, tcl8.X-dev and tk8.X-dev. The tcl/tk headers might need
a softlink from /usr/include/tcl8.3/tk.h to /usr/include/tk.h, which is and
old debian problem noone knows the right answer to. I guess one needs to
set up the alternatives system in a specific way, but I don't know how.

You can also install my unofficial pd-0.35-test11 debian package from
http://footils.radio-worldwi.de for woody:

Package: pd
Status: install ok installed
Priority: extra
Section: sound
Installed-Size: 3596
Maintainer: FB
Version: 0.35.0-test11
Depends: x-terminal-emulator, libasound2 (>= 0.9.0beta10a-1), libc6 (>= 2.2.4-4), tcl8.3 (>= 8.3.2), tk8.3 (>= 8.3.0), xlibs (>> 4.1.0)
Recommends: gem
Description: Realtime Computer Music and Graphics System.
A real-time graphical programming environment for audio and graphics
analysis and rendering. Pd's audio functions are built-in; graphical
computations require a separate package named GEM ("Graphics Environment for
Multimedia"). Pd and GEM are available for SGI machines, IBM PC compatibles
(running NT or W95) and Linux (PCs or Alpha machines).
