[PD] pd OSX externals

Hi, 

I was the original author of vst~ although it is now under the auspices 
of the cvs externals project (look in the list for links). 

The main problem you will have trying to use the vst~ under OSX is that 
I used some MFC windowing classes to make the frame for the VST GUI.
I also kick off a thread as well using MFC (so the GUI doesn't lock up
PD).
You should be able to replace these with OSX specific code fairly
easily.
The rest of the code should be fine (ie. the VST "string" interface
etc.).

Dear folks
i was wondering if there are any OSX externals that i may use. I am
particulary interested in the plugin~ and vst~ externals but i am
1.) not sure if ladpsa will work under OSX
2.) unsure if regular pd externals will compile correctly

I see that there are a few Yves Exts including the wonderful cooled~ but
has anyone else developed any others?

any hints would be greatly appreciated
