[PD] stopping susloop

There are a few ways: you can send a 0 to its leftmost inlet, in which
case it will pick up where it left off the next time you set the pitch.
You can multiply its output by 0, or use a volume envelope with it that
ramps down to 0.  If you want it to just keep playing past the end loop
point, you can send a big number to its third inlet (of course, it will
loop back again when it reaches that number).
