[PD] stack overflow / until-object

hi
i run into a problem with a loop/counterslope if i have to repeat a calculation to often (eg. 50.000 times). how can i prevent pd from running into a stack overflow? on the other hand i do not want to wait unnecessarily. how fast is the "until"-object, which i never used before? or is there an even better/faster solution?
