[PD] [gem] from cvs

hi,

after installing mandrake 9.0 and compiling pd and gem i get the 
following error:

[root at oostende gem]# pd -lib Gem
/home/rr/pd-0.35-0/gem/Gem.pd_linux: libquicktime.so.0: cannot open 
shared object file: No such file or directory
Gem: can't load library
----------------------------------------------end|

pd sources gcame from Millers site
gem sources came from sorceforge

anything i can do about it that i do not know about? *grin*
