[PD] Store lists of numbers in a textfile

Hi,

I'm trying to store a variable list of numbers in a textfile. I'm using 
the pack object, sending the list to a message object "set $1 $2......" 
and then to the textfile object. There's an error message"$2, $3.....: 
argument number out of range"..

Any ideas?
