[PD] pd, text to speech, and windows

i know that there is an object for text to speech under linux port, but what
about windows?  i'm not real strong with programming, but is there a way to
utilize something like the ms speech sdk?  i've just downloaded it and is
looking to explore it somewhat.  is there a way to have pd "talk" to the
speech engine?  any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
