[PD] pd hangs at startup - no libs (hallo x)

hi
i'm trying to get pd running on a linux.2.4.20.
no complains during compiling, also the installation
was succesfull, at least there was no error.

but if i start pd it hangs before starting the
interface, there is no error it just falls asleep.
every help will be mentally rewarded (karma +1)

ps: there are problems with midi, because my laptop has no midi.
