[PD] [OT] notebook recommendations?

The install can be a bit rough, but in terms of audio performance, my
Apple Powerbook G4 800 is quite good under linux (low noise, low
latency) and I am using the built-in audio. Like every laptop, its got
its foibles, but overall, I am pretty happy.

I used to have a Thinkpad. The built-in audio was basically useless
for anything but playing mp3s. It had a huge latency and a fair amount
of noise. But it was a very reliable and rugged machine.
