[PD] mp3amp~, shoutcast~, and the Montreal Pd party

         As fun as it was doing broadcasting last night to Montreal we 
seemed to run into a huge amount of problems getting shoutcast~ and mp3amp~ 
to talk to each other.

         I know that I haven't had any problems using shoutcast~ before and 
people using winamp and iTunes (and I think mplayer and xmms) have both 
been able to tune in, but for some reason both Maurizio and Michal couldn't 
tune in using mp3amp~. As far as I can tell it either gave them errors, or 
gave them only the left channel with some sort of granulating treatment.

         Anyway, I don't know where the problem lies. I just realised I was 
using shoutcast~ .3d (didn't know there was an update), so that might have 
been a problem.

         If anyone's had any further experience with this the speak up, 
maybe it would help any development for either projects to fix whatever the 
problem is.
