[PD] karplus strongman & tcl tk questions

Hello,

Is it possible to compile Pd without tcl/tk (for text-only use). Would
it be worth me making a build/adding flags to be able to do this? I should 
think this would be of some use when porting Pd to platforms such as 
hand-held devices.
