[PD] 16bit sound buffer object

Hi list,
I just coded up a very early version of an object that stores samples
in 16bit integer format (rather than the usual 32bit floating point) in
order to save some memory. Currently it's only meant for playback as
most sound files are 16bit integer anyway.

Before proceeding I was wondering if someone has already written a more
evolved version of such a thing, and if not wether anyone would be
interested in this and what features should be implemented.

Best regards,
Sukandar
