[PD] Gem compile problems

It does work with --disable-ieee1394. I had tried it without 
--with-ieee1394, thinking the default would be disabled, but hadn't 
tried explicitly disabling it.

I had libdv2 version 0.99-2 and libdv4 version 0.102-4 installed. I 
uninstalled libdv2 and it works fine with --with-ieee1394. Sorry I 
didn't think of that without asking.
