[PD] gem newbie questions

cool. i actually just figured out that if i set gemwin to fullscreen
and hide pd (command-h), the fullscreen image remains, but the annoying
patches disappear. woohoo!
[although it'll be nice if one day the toolbar at the top can disappear
too]
good enough for now!
