[PD] textfile

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to store 100+ messages in preferably a text file, 
and be able to read just one of them, something like by reading out the 
linenumber or a preceding number ( so it would be an array, but 
containing text.). I have looked at qlist and textfile, but that's not 
wat I need I think - but I havent'  found anything else in the reference 
that did something with text...
