a. All help should be aggregated in or under this directory:
[pd installation directory]/doc
Read the manual (html) in
  1.manual/
and all the associated examples (*.pd) in
  2.control.examples/
  3.audio.examples/
  4.fft.examples/
  5.reference
  6.externs
  7.stuff
  gem
  sound
tutorials (depends on which installer you used)

b. In a properly installed Pd directory tree, right-clicking
an object will reveal a context-sensitive menu from which help
may be selected.

c. So, create a New window, create a New Object, type "key" without the
quotes,
press Enter or click away from that object. Right click on the object
and click Help.
Read all about it.

Cheers,
Lex
