ah, i have to look in the Attic to get it....

seriously, i had only updated the pd/src-directory to devel_0_38; now it 
is there...

i think the problem is, that "(autoconf), ./configure, make make 
install" is a standard-procedure while "./bootstrap.sh" is not.

in this case, the should really be an (updated) INSTALL.txt somewhere in 
./pd/
