I've got a pretty extensive modular synth patch...
right now it can be played with a midi controller. 
The ADSR behaves funny but has become part if its
charm.  There's a huge routing matrix that can become
a bit of a pain to deal with in setting up but playing
the patchbay can be preferable to playing the keyboard
at times.  I can send you the part and instructions if
you'd like.  You'll have to figure out how to adjust
it to your needs though.


about the clicks and pops... check to see that you're
using the proper audio playback device.  I don't know
what OS you're running on or what soundcards you have
but I would recommend that you not use any MME devices
if you're using windows.  It's slow and gave me
problems when I first loaded PD.  If you still get
clicks and pops try increasing the buffer size if
possible.
