[PD] reading soundfile into gem

Hello again!

that was my basic aim:

I´ve tried it this way now. I have attached what I come up with (main patch
is "waveform_display.pd"). It works ok but it really takes a long time
to generate so many instances of [curve 2] - a bit annoying.
It would be great if there existed an object similiar to [curve] that would
accept several breaking points as a list via one inlet..
However Im new to [PD] and programming in general. Im sure there are much
ways to make the patch more effective or even faster?! I would really
appreciate every comment.

another question: Is there a message i can send to a subpatch in order to
delete all objects in this subpatch?
