unfortunately i fear that right now there is none.

if you have access to the CVS, you can check out the latest version (i 
just checked it in, so if you have only anonymous access, you might have 
to wait till tomorrow), wheree [table16] at least supports a 
"read16"-message.
it does no resizing though.
