For starters the most important docs are included. Depending on what
kind of mind you are you can read the html-manual first and then go
through the help patches in "doc" in the order, they are numbered. 

Or first gi through the help patches, then read the manual. But you
really should also read the manual, it has a lot of important things in
it. 

Every objects in Pd (well, almost every one) has a special help patch,
that you can open with Right-Click --> Help. Especially in the beginning
the help patches are very important to study, too. 

There are some more tutorials and articles at http://puredata.org/docs/
which can help to see the bigger picture. But the most important thing
is to start patching. Just copy some help or documentation patches
somewhere else and start changing them until they break. ;)
