There is a sed script to do this in CVS packages/darwin_app/Makefile,  
at about line 220:

sed -i.bak 's/^\(\#N canvas [0-9]* [0-9]* [0-9]* [0-9]*\) 12/\1 10/'  
*.pd

The "12" is the current font size, and the "10" is the new font size.
