pretty sure it's better to network them together by ethernet and use netsend / receive right? also, the 'modern' os X pd versions don't use .pdrc ... i think you've just got to save your midi device info in the preferences menu. there was a bug, which might have been fixed, where you had to open a patch (even a blank one was ok) before you could do that though.
