[PD] Open Sound Control in Mac OS X

hi all,

how can I use OSC in PD on Mac OS X? I've seen this
thread :

...but all I get when creating the file ~/.pdrc is an
addtional message at startup "OSC: can't load
library".

i have installed PD 0.38 from 

http://at.or.at/hans/pd/installers.html

which alleges to contain an OSC library ... ? the site
that is most referred to when googleing for PD/OSC
(http://barely.a.live.fm/pd/OSC) doesn't seem to exist
any more.

also there seem to be different libraries (i.e. i saw
someone talking about a "routeOSC" object, another one
using "OSCroute" ... none of them seem to be installed
with my version).
