[PD] playback pix_film Gem stutters

I tried to load both Gem.pd_darwin (Gem.pd_darwin_3_8_2006.tgz and 
Gem.pd_darwin_11_16_2005.tgz) in Pd version 0.37.1 but they won't load. 
I don't think it's a permission issue, since I cannot even load them as 
root.

tried /usr/local/lib/pd/extra/Gem.pd_darwin and succeeded
/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/Gem.pd_darwin: couldn't load
Gem: can't load library

But, I succeeded in loading the new Gem into RC8 and it seems to work 
ok. And.. when exporting the clips (from another program than FCP) into 
QT/photojpg the loop plays ok. Somehow the compression of the file into 
photojpg QT by FCP works differently; Quicktime can handle to loop the 
files, PD cannot.
