The clue was in the attachment. :)

Here's my guess -  Europa is trying to construct a list of symbols
and set a message box from that list.

The error was in the [set $1 $2 $3( message substitution, and
the redundant symbol selector.

Perhaps the attached patch does whats needed (?)
