[PD] Webcam not working in PureData but works in cheese / ubuntu 8.10

this is most likely because Pd is an audio-centric application that  
does not know how to deal with video-stuff at all.

if you are using libraries like Gem, pdp, gridflow or whatelse to  
(unsuccessully) access your camera please tell us so, so we can be  
more supportive.
