[PD] firewire is dead?

no kiddin?
been using it for about 5years with both jack1 and 2
i've been mainly used pd and lots of midi-controllers though

and only at 44kz maybe that is the issue ?

i meant to say cardbus-firewire ofcourse (smartcard ?!)
