[PD] modal synthesis examples?

Does anyone know of any patches / abstractions / libraries for playing
with modal synthesis in pd? 

In particular I'm looking at this paper:

But I'd love put together something that looks a little like modalys...

The only implementations I'm really aware of is the old STK
(https://ccrma.stanford.edu/software/stk/) - which actually isn't
maintained for pd or running on modern systems as far as I can tell.
Some of it made it's way to faust and I've had some luck cross -
compiling, but I imagine there might be better / newer stuff around...
