I'm using [hid] for all 6 mouse buttons of my Logitech mouse.

[tot] cannot do it as far as I know (I tried it but could have missed something …).

[hid]?
[receivecanvas]?
maybe [tot]?

I don't think it was neither of these... it was one that was specific to mouse interaction, I remember it had in the example also the scrolling parameter from that think in the middle of the mouse between buttons.

And I tried [receivecanvas] but I don't get the right click information from it.

what do you want to achieve in the first place?

I wanna see how you can get the right click information into an object, and I want to use this to attempt to fix a quite old and known bug in cyclone/active (since cyclone 0.1).

For linux, it outputs information when you right click on the canvas window and it shouldn't. Funny how this doesn't happen for windows or mac, just linux... for that matter, maybe we could investigate why linux behaves differently - could this be a bug? For more info, see https://github.com/porres/pd-cyclone/issues/390

thanks
