Gem & shutter-glasses ?

   "In theory..." it should be possible to modify the GEM windowing code to
do stereoscopic display.  You would need to make a stereo buffered window
and then render the Gem list (the rendering chain) twice, once for each eye.

  I have heard that someone modified GEM to work in a Cave (the 3d room with
multiple displays), but haven't seen it or any code.
