[PD] GEM:Unable to create single buffer window

Hi all:

Everytime I try to create a gemwin in single buffer mode I get the
following messages:

error: GEM: Unable to create single buffer window
error: GEM: Unable to create window

The same happens in the examples.


I don't know if this is related but everytime I create a window I get:

error: GEM: Could not open display 01
error: GEM: Error creating const context
error: GEM: A serious error occured creating const Context
error: GEM: Do not continue!

This is in Gem 0.86 RedHat 7.1

Any ideas?
