which version of GEM and which OS are you using?
the CVS version of GEM has an object called pix_blur that does fairly
simple and fast motion blur + feedback effects. there are other
lower level objects that can be used for similar visual effects.
there's not a tutorial at the moment, sorry to say, but it's high on
the TODO list.
what sort of visual effects are you interested in specifically? the
developers are fairly receptive to requests. ;)
