[PD] HDSP CPU usage in PD

And another thing....

I've noticed lately that using my HDSP with OSS-emulation or Jack+ALSA 
[or the rare time I can get it to work with straight ALSA] adds about 
20-30% CPU usage to my patches when the DSP is on. Is this normal for 
you other HDSP-folks? Where should I start looking for the culprit: PD 
code or ALSA code?
