[PD] which codec does pdp_qt support?

photojpeg is definitely the codec of choice if you want to do frame 
based processing. one of the reasons is that it has no key frames (well 
- only key frames actually).

be sure to use a stable libquicktime version. 0.92 is broken and 
crashes frequently (especially in the jpeg code), 0.91 is fine and 0.93 
can be regarded as promising (posts on experiences with 0.93 welcome).
