[PD] best linux system for using Pd just now

I suppose I should ask this list, then --

I'm trying to get Debian (kernel 2.4.18) running on a PPC (iBook 300 MHz - I
know, it's ancient) - has anyone else out there had any luck with installing
a low-latency patch into the kernel? Agnula/Demudi have yet to be ported to
PPC, and it seems most Linux users are disgruntled ex-Windows users, very
few are running Linux on a Mac.

Thanks
david
