[PD] hid and "unusual" device names

Yes... this is something that needs to be addressed.  On GNU/Linux  
[hid] isn't really [hid] after all, its Linux input.  Bad naming on  
my part.

/dev/input/event? and /dev/usb/hiddev0 have different data formats,  
hence the crashing.

So yes, to use /dev/usb/hiddev? devices, there needs to be a proper  
[hid] object.
