usually you get this when there are gaps in the alsa enumeration...

which "apt-get install" removed jack2? i have plenty of "apt-get
install"s here and still i have "jackd2" installed....


what's the problem with the "oops" you are getting?
don't you get any sound? or does it just annoy you to get something
that looks like a warning?
in any case, you could try running Pd with jack.
